excellent one word is enough to explain it.

It should be written somewhere that only the scan is free, but to fix found issues the users will have to buy the the license. I was expecting to pay, but I don’t like hidden messages.
really like it
seems good. It has not picked up any viruses yet. I either have none or it didn’t recognize any. Just picked up unwanted adware which was piggybacked on an unauthorized Adobe Flash Player
I tried Malware Bytes.. and other stuff.. I couldn’t even use Firefox to Sync… This fixed it!! OMG! I was almost ready to take my computer in to get it repaired. Well worth it and FREE!!!!
NIce app to detect virus!
I have owned my Macbook Pro for about 3 years and never had any type of Anti-Virus or Anit-Malware software on it. Decided to download something and give it a scan. THis one did find one infected file. Wish it would offer more information but I did a Google search and found out what it was. Not anything terrible but it did find it. I’ve read some reports here that one a threat was found, you had to pay to get rid of it. I did not have that experience. It found the threat and cleaned it. Never asked me to pay. It found that threat with the quick scan. I then ran a full scan and it didn’t find any others. At this point, I give it 5 starts. Simple and effective.
fast and it does remove things looks like and makes it little faster but it will be nice if we know what as removed.
I just downloaded and it has already had me delete some things to protect my mac, as it should be doing. I need to test it more and use it more to see how it runs tho; to fully understand and see how it runs and works.
Purchased Dr. Safety on a whim but have found that this app works well on my MBPr 13 inch. Have had other AV programs that use a hierarchical system which always bogged down processing speed. No issues to report….
Using a macbook air this application is great for locating viruses, but does not effectively remove them. In order to remove viruses I had to go through terminal and use the rm command followed but the location of the virus. Without this application I would not hace been able to locate the problem.
Very easy and identified virus on my computer fast. Thanks!
does everything i need, and none of the extra stuff that has a chance of deleting things i dont want it to! clutch!
It appears to work as listed!
I thought I would try Dr. Safety as it was advertised on The Mac App Store, and I usually feel that the App Store does a pretty good job of discouraging manipulative marketing strategies. Wrong this time! It also impressed me that it was published by Trend Micro which I know has had a good reputation. What turned me completely off is that I could not exit the application without hitting the REMIND ME LATER TO UPGRADE button to the more ’advanced’ paid application. I will now delete it from my list of applications.
very easy to use unlike so many cleaners. i actually felt like i was gonna be safe. kindof like having a big brother that has your back, and that really feels nice.
Before getting Dr. Safety, safety warnings would frequently pop up when I was online and tell me there was a need to download this or that upgrade to an existing application. I didn’t realize that the warnings WERE the malware. After the initial run of Dr. Safety found and eliminated said malware, regular scans have shown a clean machine. Using this in conjunction with Dr. Cleaner seems to have kept my MBPro working much more efficiently than before. Plus, I feel reassured.
It’s pretty decent, like how it automatically cleans up memory after you exit a program...
Free. Easy. Fast. Works. If you need better then I guess pay, but for the version that is free, it is certainly worth a look, a try.
Very HelpFUL!!!!! Also did the work it was suppose to and didn’t have to worry about trying to fgure it out myself.
