Irritating and Useless As Other Reviewers Said

Needed a new virus checker for my Mac (running OS X 10.11.6).

Mixed reviews for this product should have been a warning but I hoped that the complainers were inexperienced Mac users. Apparently not the case.

(1) Downloaded the free version, since they don’t seem to have a paid version in the app store.
(2) Installs easily, runs first time easily, claims to find items to remove.
(3) Requires you to upgrade to remove.
(4) Purchase the upgrade in the app. Confirm purchase in App store.
(5) App continues to ignore the fact that you have purchased the upgrade through the app itself. Cycles endlessly through the "upgrade to fix” sales pitch.

Software is clearly useless because of this bug/process/FAIL if you want to use it to correct problems.

I do not recommend downloading unless all you want to do is verify if your Mac is safe from unwanted software, since it doesn’t seem to be able to be upgradable to the purchasable version that will actually fix the problems it claims to detect.
